What you will do:

* Lead clinical pharmacy services for designated patients by identifying and catering to their pharmaceutical care needs.

* Deliver expert clinical pharmacy care, and oversee and delegate tasks to junior pharmacists and technical staff.

* Minimise clinical risk associated with medicine use and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

* Provide insightful guidance on the safe and effective use of medications to prescribers, patients, and other healthcare professionals.

* Ensure thorough documentation of pharmaceutical care delivery.

* Offer clinical supervision, mentoring, and performance reviews for pharmacists within the team.

* Spearhead pharmaceutical issues, adopting best practices and evidence-based research at both policy and individual levels.

* Develop and oversee the creation of prescribing guidelines.

* Work collaboratively with lead specialist pharmacists to enhance service delivery.

* Lead pharmacy services management, enhancing medicine optimisation and expenditure.

* Provide specialist teaching through local tutorials and participation in study days.

*Applicants must be HCPC registered and possess a valid driving licence.
