Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist within School Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Location: Halesworth, UK

Salary: £35-£40 Hourly

Type: ASAP Start - Ongoing

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist to work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in school settings. Located in the charming town of Halesworth, you'll earn between £35-£40 hourly, with options for full-time or part-time work. What you will do:

- Provide speech and language therapy services within a SEND framework in a school setting.

- Offer advice, consultation, and clinical supervision to support senior clinicians.

- Share knowledge and research to ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices by the team.

- Develop and maintain high standards in communication programmes within the service.

- Ensure professional responsibilities and ethics are upheld in accordance with SALT codes and guidelines.

- Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records and reports.

Requirements:

- HCPC Registration is essential.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a SEND or school-based setting is required.

- A driving license is preferable to facilitate travel between sites.

Key Attributes:

- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy.

- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and education professionals.
