About the Role:

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will support the nursing team, lead by example, and mentor junior staff to ensure the highest standards of care and well-being for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities

- Administering medication in line with policies and training (where applicable)

- Supporting the nursing team with clinical tasks and record-keeping

- Leading and mentoring junior care staff to ensure best practices are followed

- Ensuring dignity, respect, and a compassionate approach at all times

Requirements:

- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Essential)

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in a nursing home

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- A caring and compassionate nature with a commitment to delivering high standards of care
