What you will do:
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to support students in overcoming speech and language challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to integrate effective communication strategies into classroom activities.
- Conduct assessments to accurately diagnose speech and language disorders and track student progress.
- Provide support and training to staff and parents, enhancing their understanding of speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with school policies and relevant legislation.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
