Job Description

Senior Sonographer
Cheshire, Alderley Edge
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: 7.5 hour shifts between 09:00-19:00.
You will also be required to work one Saturday shift per month

We're looking for a Senior Sonographer to join our dedicated Sonography team at The Birth Company in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

As a leader in sonography services, you will ensure that all examination results meet the clinic's high standards for quality assurance before findings are released for interpretation. Acting as a technical and clinical expert, you will oversee the creation, implementation, and management of scanning protocols and quality control activities, ensuring precision and excellence in all imaging assessments.

You will play a vital role in securing and maintaining relevant accreditations, carrying out quality assurance protocols, and driving quality improvement initiatives. Staying at the forefront of technical and clinical advancements will be essential, enabling you to uphold cutting-edge practices within the clinic.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of this role, requiring you to establish and maintain productive relationships with co-workers, administrators, and external healthcare providers. Representing and advocating for the clinic, you will ensure seamless communication and support for delivering exceptional service to clients and patients.

In addition to supporting referrals and upholding professional service standards, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of sonography services, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across the clinic.

What you'll bring:

  • HCPC registered
  • Advanced Sonographer Certification desirable
  • Sonography experience in the UK
  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound
