Job Description

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of an Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING Nursery who are looking to employ a Qualified Room Leader for their top-quality setting based near Catford, London. For this role, you will apply your knowledge and best practice to ensure our children have the very best start in life, while utilising the Curiosity Approach as well as the EYFS framework. They are also seeking a passionate Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner.

Room Leader – Key Aspects
• As a manager of the Baby Room you have overall responsibility to ensure the relevant statutory and legal welfare and curriculum requirements are always met
• You have a duty to ensure that your team perform to the highest standard and are managed in line with the Nursery’s policies and procedures
• As a keyworker for a group of children you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, every day
• Safeguarding children is your priority making sure all children in the setting are safe and protected from harm
• Speak Up against practices that don’t support safeguarding or our Core Values
• To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families

Key requirements for Room Leader:
• A full and relevant Level 3 qualification as defined by Department of Education
• Previous experience working with babies/under 2s
• A passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities
