Staff Nurse - Chemo Day Unit (Clinical Trials)
Location: London, Sarah Cannon Research Institute
Working Hours: Part Time 22.5 hours per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
Contract: Permanent

Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team. Currently rated "Good" by the CQC, we are a world-leading clinical trials facility specializing in the development of new therapies, including targeted and precision medication for cancer patients. As the research arm of HCA's global cancer institute, we are the first UK trials unit outside of the NHS with the ability to offer new anti-cancer drugs in clinical trials.

In this role, you will be part of a supportive and experienced Clinical Research Team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating expert research nursing care. You will support patients who have been or have the potential to be recruited onto a clinical trial program. Ensuring patients receive care in a safe, comfortable, and compassionate environment, you will meet their medical, physical, and emotional needs through effective communication with both patients and their families.
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in safeguarding the well-being of patients involved in clinical research, ensuring that all studies are conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in collaboration with the wider research team. What you'll bring:
- Current NMC registration (if a registered nurse)
- SACT approve chemotherapy nurse
- Experience of Clinical Trails is desirable but not essential
- Experience of oncology nursing
