Job Description
Role: S enior Assistant Technical Officer - Aseptics
Location: The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care, London
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with Excellent Benefits)
We're looking for a S enior Assistant Technical Officer (Aseptics) to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.
Based in London's medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient-centred service across our world-renown campus that house several centres of excellence from Cardiac to Diagnostics to Complex Oncology.
As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, the S enior Assistant Technical Officer is an integral part in the provision of a safe and effective aseptic service (Clinical Trials and non - Clinical Trials).

Job Responsibilities:
- To work with the Senior and Lead Technician in the provision of a safe and effective aseptic service (Clinical Trials and non - Clinical Trials).
- To ensure appropriate working conditions are maintained and that the relevant principles of Good Manufacturing Practice, COSHH and those of the Health and Safety at Work Act, are applied at all times.
- To ensure adherence of local pharmacy and HCA SOPs and policies.
- To prepare workload schedule, labels and worksheets ensuring accurate recording of all information necessary to comply with SOPs.
- To assemble raw materials and equipment required for aseptic manufacture.
- To aseptically prepare items for patients using cleanroom technology in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner following local SOPs, GMP and COSHH regulations.
- To view and label manufactured items ready for pharmacist release.

What you'll bring:
- Experience of working in a pharmacy aseptic unit
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmaceutical Science / Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent) - desirable
- Demonstrate experience of working with clinical trials - desirable
