Job Description

Night Senior Care Assistant

  • Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Salary: £13.71 per hour
  • Shifts: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
  • Contract: 36 to 48 hours per week

Your Role:

? Lead and support the night care team to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.
? Administer medication and complete care documentation accurately.
? Provide emotional and physical support to residents, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times.
? Respond effectively to emergencies and liaise with healthcare professionals when necessary.
? Maintain a safe, clean, and homely environment for all residents.



What We're Looking For:

?? Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant role (or similar) within a residential or dementia care setting.
?? A Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care - or willingness to work towards it.
?? Experience administering medication.
?? A kind, patient, and compassionate nature with a passion for elderly care.
?? Strong leadership and communication skills.
