We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic join our Primary Care team at HMP Bullingdon , a category B p rison located located near Bicester. HMP Bullingdon is a male prison with operational capacity of around 1,100.
This would suit a qualified Paramedic, as you will be responding to emergency and urgent care situations.
Hours
37.5 hours a week. The site currently offers variety of shifts patterns, including 07:30 - 17:30, 07:30 - 19:30, night shifts, and weekends / bank holidays.
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £47,250 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
- Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
- Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.
- Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, our partners and stakeholders and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of.
- Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a culture of reflection and shared learning.

Qualifications required
- Qualified Paramedic
- Current professional registration (HCPC)
- Proven post-registration ambulance experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries / illness
- Patient centred values and non-judgmental approach
- Ability to work within a busy environment
