Join the Roehampton family help service as a Family Social Worker within the Children in Need team in Wandsworth. This ongoing role offers an hourly Umbrella Pay Rate of £38.50. Work full-time with core hours from 9-5, engaging in meaningful work that has a lasting impact on families. The expected assignment duration is 3 months, with paid hours capped at 36 per week. What you will do:
* Conduct thorough assessments and analyses of family situations to identify needs and risks.
* Work closely with children and their families throughout their journey with statutory services, including providing support in child protection and court work settings.
* Manage a variable caseload of 12-18 children, ensuring each family receives tailored support and intervention.
* Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to deliver a high standard of care and support to families in need.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records, reporting as necessary to support the ongoing development of individual care plans.
Essential requirements:
* Proficiency in conducting sound analysis and risk assessments.
* Commitment to working with children and their families within statutory frameworks.
* At least 2 years of experience post-ASYE.
