Ward Clerk
London Bridge Hospital
Full time, 37.5 per week
Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 16.00
Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Ward Clerk to join London Bridge Hospital. You will provide a reception/administrative service to support the Orthopaedic ward to deliver a high quality service to clients.

What you'll do:

  • Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants and staff and deal with their enquiries in accordance with world class standards
  • Answer telephone enquiries, referring where appropriate
  • To make bookings for consultant appointments and clinical investigations
  • To register patients and enter charges on to computer system
  • Support and on some occasions work on other units as indicated in the absence of ward clerks
  • Administrative support to Unit Manager and Sisters
  • Take minutes, prepare minutes and agenda for Meetings
What you'll bring:
  • Previous admin experience within a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
