What you'll be doing
As our Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will be:
- Providing high-quality patient care, ensuring their welfare, safety, and comfort.
- Collaborating with doctors, surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless treatment.
- Managing patient admissions, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Monitoring patient progress, planning new interventions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records in both paper and electronic formats.
- Supporting and mentoring junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants to foster a strong team environment.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control policies, health & safety regulations, and hospital standards.
- Participating in audits, training, and staff development, continuously improving clinical practices.
You will be a NMC Registered Nurse with at least one year of post-registration experience, with:
- Experience working in a surgical or inpatient setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Awareness of Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Quality Standards.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to patient care.

- Work 37.5 hours a week with a combination of shifts, Monday to Sunday
- Shift patterns - Days = 07:00 - 19:30 and Nights = 19:00 - 07:30
