About The Role
Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking for ad-hoc shifts to fit around your current responsibilities? At Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emersons Green, our team of dedicated professionals place their patients at the heart of everything they do.

Our clean, modern and comfortable hospital specialises in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients and our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment.

Supported by our experienced Physiotherapy Manager, Mini, you will work in the ward, day surgery and outpatient departments, managing your own workload during pre-assessment clinics, pre-surgical treatments and all peri-operative care. You will also work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that all patient physical therapy needs are assessed.

What you'll be doing

To provide an effective and professional Physiotherapy service to patients using the hospital. To ensure that all Physiotherapy care being provided meets the agreed clinical protocols and reflects best practice within the field of Orthopaedics. Work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team within the Outpatient Department, Ward and Day Surgery areas. To ensure patients and carers receive all the required information and educational programmes to ensure patient compliance with set clinical protocols.

What we'll look for in you

• Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
• HCPC Registered
• Recent post graduate experience
• Recent post graduate experience in the field of musculoskeletal disorders
• Previous experience within an acute hospital environment especially with orthopaedics
• Able to motivate others
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding and use of evidence based practice
