Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (Community Stroke) in Margate UK with a competitive rate of up to £29 hourly, Full Time - part time will be considered, and the contract is ongoing. What you will do:

* Provide specialist assessment and therapy for individuals recovering from stroke, focusing on communication and swallowing (dysphagia).

* Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care plans and support for patients in a community setting.

* Support and educate patients, families, and carers about stroke recovery and rehabilitation.

* Document patient progress and therapy outcomes, ensuring communication within the healthcare team is clear and effective.

Requirements:

* Registered with the HCPC.

* A minimum of 2 years experience in Speech and Language therapy, ideally with experience in stroke and community settings.

* While not essential, being a car driver is preferable due to travel between different sites.
