Location, Birmingham The Harborne Hospital
Hours : Full Time 37.5hrs
Contract: Permanent

We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ITU) at The Harborne Hospital, our 4th NHS Joint Venture.
Purpose-built with both patients and colleagues in mind, The Harborne Hospital is a 50-bed, multi-specialty private hospital offering advanced clinical infrastructure, exceptional technology, and modern facilities-hallmarks of HCA Healthcare UK (HCA UK). The hospital delivers full clinical pathways across specialties including Cardiology, Cancer Care, and Complex Surgery.

As a Senior Staff Nurse in our ITU Unit, you'll play a vital role in our 6-bedded critical care facility, working alongside top consultants from the Birmingham area, caring for complex patients who have undergone Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Neuro and Spinal Surgery, and Colorectal Robotic Surgery. Our small team thrives on supporting each other, offering fair and flexible rotas with opportunities for professional development. Senior Staff Nurses will have the autonomy to take charge, backed by two Charge Nurses and a Line Manager with years of experience, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way.

What you'll bring:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC pin.
  • Cardiac ITU experience highly desirable
  • In-Charge experience highly desirable
  • Extensive experience working within Critical Care
  • Critical Care Course minimum 30 ITU Credits
