We are currently seeking a highly motivated and fully qualified and accredited psychotherapist to support our growing CAMHS outpatient therapy team on a permanent part-time basis.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about young people's mental health and wellbeing to support the delivery of high quality and effective therapy to outpatients aged seven-17 years-old.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant therapy qualification (minimum Level 5 Diploma) together with full professional registration and accreditation with the BABCP, BACP or UKCP, and will have a minimum three years' post qualification experience of working with children and young people with a range of mental health issues in a similar setting.
The role will predominately involve the delivery of outpatient assessments and sessions, and there will also be the opportunity in the future for the successful candidate to deliver outpatient group therapy to both children and young people and their parents/carers.
The successful candidate will be required to complete 60% of their contracted hours as clinical hours.
This role provides successful candidates with the opportunity to work on weekdays, evenings, or weekends, depending on their availability.
Our service is based on a strong, friendly multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on supporting our colleagues through regular supervision, peer support groups, and annual appraisals. Good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
Applications from those working towards accreditation within the next six to 12 months might be considered depending on experience, with a revised salary banding of £31,930-£36,050 pro rata until full accreditation is achieved.

Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Bromley, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues, and also has a specialist eating disorders unit. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to Bromley, central London, and Croydon and parking is available locally.
