Job Advert - Division Information

We are looking to appoint an experienced Registered Mental Health nurse, this role will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing patient centred care to our service users including assessments, care planning, risk management and providing high quality, compassionate care with a person-centred approach. You will also work with our service users to achieve their goals and aspirations through collaboration. You will also provide mentorship to colleagues and be part of a supportive team.

Nelson House Hospital is a modern and spacious locked rehabilitation recovery service for men with mental illness. By having a focus on the development of skills for independence the unit provides a positive step for patients, many whose next step will be living in the community. It helps patients learn new ways of managing their conditions and symptoms with the aim of helping to prevent any future relapse. For patients with challenging behaviours, Nelson House helps them to learn skills to change their response to anxiety and distress.
