Job Description
Registered Manager – Neurodegenerative Centre (43 Beds)
Location: London
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the management of a leading Neurodegenerative Centre located in London. This facility provides specialist care for individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, mental health diagnoses, acquired brain injuries (ABI), and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), offering 43 beds within a warm and compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and motivate the care team, ensuring the highest quality of care and compliance with CQC standards.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, focusing on neurodegenerative conditions, mental health, and brain injury recovery.
Ensure effective financial management and budget control, aiming for sustainable and high-quality care.
Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
Ensure the effective recruitment, training, and retention of staff.
Maintain regulatory compliance, meeting all legal and operational requirements.
Oversee day-to-day operational management of the centre, promoting a person-centred approach to care.
Essential Requirements:
Registered Manager with Care Quality Commission (CQC) experience.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing residential care facilities.
In-depth understanding of neurodegenerative conditions, mental health diagnoses, ABI, and TBI, and the needs of the patients.
A passion for person-centred care and a strong desire to make a real difference in the lives of residents.
Relevant management qualifications, including NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a similar care setting focused on brain injury, neurodegenerative conditions, or mental health.
Experience with regulatory inspections and maintaining CQC ratings.
