About The Role
Are you an experienced Lead Nurse Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with General Practice and management experience?

The Junction Health Centre is recruiting for a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with General Practice, management experience and good knowledge of clinical governance to take on the clinical lead responsibility for the Junction Health Centre (JHC) nursing team. The JHC is a high QOF achieving and Good CQC rated service located in Clapham Junction. The clinical lead will be supported by the GP Clinical Lead and the management team.

Run by Practice Plus Group, The Junction Health Centre is a family-friendly NHS surgery with 8,600 registered patients and a Wandsworth Enhanced Access Hub service. The services provide the community of Wandsworth with treatment and advice for a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries and long term conditions after 6:30pm weekdays and weekends. We also provide the usual range of primary care services including immunisations, women's health, health screening etc.

We have a well-established team of approachable and supportive clinicians comprising of - GPs, ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistants.

The Lead ANP will be given 4-6 hours of weekly protected management time for these duties. The other working hours will involve set clinics consulting patients for acute problems, long term conditions and routine appointments.

What you'll be doing

The vacancy is a permanent contract with the option to work between 24hrs - 37.5hrs p/w. This comes with a FTE salary of £65,000 per annum.

The working pattern is Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday with the option to work on weekends.

The Practice is an active member of the Primary Care Network and benefits from additional clinical staff offered through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme.

As the Lead ANP, you will be responsible for supporting the Management Team with clinical effectiveness activities, clinical governance, CQC readiness and service improvements.

What you'll be doing:

To provide clinical and professional leadership to all nursing staff including the Health Care Assistant and to work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure nursing services are delivered effectively to the patients. To work in partnership with other health care professionals and Primary Care Network practices ensuring the clinical team works cohesively and effectively to deliver a high standard of patient care. This will involve leading by example, facilitating professional and clinical development, ensuring all competency and training requirements of staff are met to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.

What we'll look for in you

Practice Plus Group services are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as such the Lead Nurse will play an active part to ensure the readiness of the service for a CQC inspection.

Essential Qualifications & Experience :
