Band 5 - Pharmacy Technician

Location: Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 7QB

Payrate: £23 - £24 Hourly

Start Date: ASAP Start - Ongoing

Full-time - Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 5:15 pm (one hour break)

What you will do:

* Dispense and supply medicines accurately to inpatient wards, ensuring high standards of pharmaceutical care.

* Collaborate with healthcare teams to support medicines optimisation, improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

* Manage stock levels and ensure efficient supply processes within the pharmacy department.

* Assist with patient counselling, providing advice on medication use and safety to enhance patient understanding and compliance.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, and best practices within an NHS hospital setting.

Requirements:

* Candidates must possess at least 6 months of recent dispensary experience within an NHS hospital.

* Candidates should be prepared to submit their CV and provide current references to be considered for the role.
