Hourly Rate : £35.00 Contract : Flexible - Full Time or Part Time (initial 3-month period)

Role Overview : An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Social Services Team in Bolton, contributing to the Independent Living Service. This role offers flexibility with Full Time or Part Time options, enabling a great work-life balance. You will work closely with a variety of health professionals, Social Workers, and Community Assessment Officers (CAOs) to support individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence through innovative and tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide specialist occupational therapy input, focusing on promoting independence for individuals with disabilities.

Collaborate with Social Workers, CAOs, and health professionals to develop holistic care plans.

Conduct assessments and recommend appropriate techniques, equipment, and adaptations to meet individual needs.

Contribute to the development of new practices to enhance well-being and independence for individuals and their carers.

Participate in teams such as Discharge to Assess at-home, Sensory, and Telecare, within the Independent Living Service.
