Position: Lead Nurse in Substance Misuse - Full-Time Location: Croydon
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Nurse in Substance Misuse to join our dynamic team in Croydon. Key Responsibilities:
Part of the senior leadership team, working closely with the service manager to deliver high-quality clinical services
Develop and maintain integrated pathways for individuals requiring treatment for health issues related to addiction
Implement and oversee immunisation and vaccination programmes to combat blood-borne viruses, providing guidance to professionals managing drug and alcohol-related issues
Ensure compliance with clinical governance and national guidelines
Contribute to audits and improvement of clinical standards and practices
Establish and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, promoting clinical services
Lead the clinical aspects of new developments and provide direction to the nursing team
Support team learning and development, fostering a culture of shared good practice
Assist in implementing policies and managing risks to ensure efficient and safe service delivery
Collaborate with the lead doctor to plan and implement individual treatment programmes
