Job Opportunity: Senior Mental Health Practitioner - CAMHS - Wigan UK - £26 - £31 per hour - Pay and Band based on experience - Hourly - Ongoing

We have an opening for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within the CAMHS team in Wigan. This position involves working with children and young people presenting with mental health issues, specifically within the framework of the Youth Offending Team. You will be integral to developing service pathways and delivering care as you work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.

What you will do:

* Provide a specialised role in developing services and care pathways for children and young people with mental health challenges within the THRIVE framework.

* Collaborate intensively with the Youth Offending Team to deliver mental health and risk support.

* Engage in and contribute to the multi-disciplinary team by completing triage calls and consultations.

* Deliver training session to team members and external partners.

* Conduct clinical assessments, formulate risk management plans, and offer short-term therapeutic interventions.

* Manage cases effectively, ensuring service users receive high-quality, person-centred care.
