Role: Staff Midwife - Band 6
Site: The Portland Hospital for Women & Children, London.
Hours: Full-time (shifts: Long days/nights/Weekends)
Salary: Band 6 competitive dependent on skills & Experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

We're looking for a Staff Midwife to join The Portland Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC, and the UK's only fully private maternity hospital in the UK.

Delivering over 1,600 babies per year, we place great importance on providing safe and high-quality care for expectant mothers. Both consultant-led and midwife-led maternity care is available, and we have a holistic care approach, providing expectant mothers with all the support they need during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. As the Staff Midwife, you will be responsible and accountable for the provision of high-quality care within the maternity setting. You will work within the midwifery team to provide antenatal, intranatal and postnatal care to all women during their inpatient stay and work alongside Obstetric Consultants colleagues to support Consultant Led Care within the maternity service.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

What you'll bring:

  • NMC Registered Midwife (Band 6)
  • 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Basic Adult and Newborn Life Support
  • Teaching and mentoring experience
  • Competent at cannulation
