Job Description

Location: Birkenhead

Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £26 per hour

Shift/Working Pattern: Either full time or part time

Duties of the Podiatrist

* Be part of a highly motivated team, yet work as an autonomously practitioner without direct reference to a line manager or professional colleagues in both community and acute settings

* Provide a high standard of clinical care

* Assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual care programmes for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs, including acute or chronic neuropathies, chronic diseases such as diabetes and connective tissue disorders, vascular problems, wound management and biomechanical conditions

Requirements of the Podiatrist

Qualified podiatrist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Podiatry

Recent experience within podiatry

Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK

NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential

Be able to drive and have access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes
