Job Title: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist within Acute

Location: Orpington, UK Salary: £30 per hour Hourly Contract: Ongoing Full Time - Part Time will be considered.

What you will do:

* Assess, diagnose, and create personalised treatment plans for adults with communication and swallowing disorders, particularly focusing on frailty and dysphagia cases.

* Deliver effective therapy services to acute inpatient settings, ensuring tailored interventions for each individual case.

* Maintain accurate records and liaise with medical professionals to provide holistic care to patients.

* Offer guidance, supervision, and support to junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration.

* Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.

Requirements:

* HCPC Registration and a Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.

* Demonstrated recent experience in UK healthcare settings, particularly with adult acute inpatient care.

* Proven experience managing frailty caseloads and competence in dysphagia management.

* Ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate junior team members, ensuring excellent service delivery.
