Job Description
- About The Role
- A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Our client is a young individual who is non verbal as well as being a wheel chair user and using ceiling hoists. She will require 2:1 care for the rest of her life aiding with the admin of medication through PEG as well as taking fluids in PEG.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 3.30pm-9pm
Saturday - 9-5 or 10-6
Pay: £17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering personalised care routines
- PEG experience is a must.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
