What you will do:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals with autism and learning disabilities, focusing on those in supported living or transitioning into it.

* Develop and implement intervention plans using sensory and environmental strategies to manage challenging behaviours.

* Provide training and support to staff on moving and handling techniques as well as equipment and adaptations.

* Enhance citizen independence by incorporating assistive technology and innovative care solutions.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the suitability of accommodation and support structures for individuals with complex needs.

Requirements:

* Must have HCPC registration.

* At least 2 years of experience specialising in learning disabilities.

* A well-developed knowledge of autism and managing challenging behaviours is essential.

* Car driving is preferable.
