We are seeking a full-time Social Worker to join our dynamic Social Care Mental Health team. This role, initially offered for three months, has the potential for extension based on the team's needs and permanent recruitment status. If you are experienced in handling complex adults' mental health cases within a local authority, this could be the perfect fit for you. Please note, this is not a Care Coordinator role, and you will be working in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams.

What You Will Do:

- Manage a caseload of complex mental health cases, conducting assessments, reviews, and safeguarding under the Care Act.

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals, attending ward rounds and engaging with housing, brokerage, and other community organisations.

- Handle Court of Protection applications, participate in Mental Health Tribunals, and perform duty work as required.

- Prioritise your workload effectively in high-pressure environments, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

- Be proactive in managing complex caseloads, seeking out innovative solutions and staying informed about developments in mental health.
