We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Admissions Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Altcourse , a category B Prison located in Liverpool.
HMP Altcourse is a male adult prison that has a capacity for 1324 inmates. The prison takes around 30 new admissions a day Monday - Saturday.

This position is Bank , you'll receive an hourly salary of £22.18 an hour.

What you'll be doing
As a Bank Admissions Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
- You will use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team

- Current professional qualification (NMC)
- Must have previous experience of working within a prison environment.
