Salary: £36,176 - £38,596 per annum + £5000 Welcome Bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading healthcare provider at our client's facility in Burgess Hill. With the opening of a new 10-bed male adult PICU ward in September 2023, they are expanding their team and looking for dedicated professionals to help shape the future of their services.

The facility is structured across three specialised units:

* EA - Male Psychiatric Intensive Care Ward

* MS - Acute General Adult Male-Only Ward

As a new team member, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and transformation of their services. With a renewed focus on quality and excellence, their aim is to grow and enhance the care they provide.

This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the lives of those in their care by developing and improving current services.

Our Client's Services:

Their facility provides Acute and PICU services focused on stabilisation and recovery. They offer a range of therapeutic interventions designed to help individuals develop coping strategies within a supportive hospital environment.

Their expertise allows them to manage patients with high levels of risk and challenging behaviours, including those at risk of violence, self-harm, and trauma. They also support individuals requiring stabilisation as they transition from high dependency or acute care, depending on their diagnosis.

Our client's clinical programmes emphasise:

* Collaborative work with discharge teams to ensure smooth transitions to community services or home, where possible.

* Restoring and maintaining patients' quality of life through appropriate therapeutic approaches.

* Building skills to promote independence and facilitating care in the least restrictive settings suitable to patients' health needs.

* Support for substance misuse and addictions treatment.

Role Requirements:

* Registered nurse with an active NMC PIN

* Positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality

* Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches in practice

* Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

Benefits:

They offer an attractive benefits package, including:

* Competitive salary

* Free on-site parking

* Subsidised meals on duty

* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Additional day off for your birthday

* Enhanced maternity pay

* Contributory pension scheme

* Flexible benefits, including reduced rates on gym membership, IT equipment, and private healthcare

* Access to professional development opportunities

* Sponsorship for professional qualifications

* Leadership and management development programmes

* Long service awards

* Refer a friend bonus

* Relocation support (up to £3,000)

Additional Benefits for Nurses:

* £5,000 welcome bonus

* Overtime opportunities

* Fully funded DBS and NMC registration

* Return to practice support

* Mentorship experience

* CPD top-up

* Management and leadership development opportunities

All positions are subject to a successful disclosure at the appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI, or Disclosure Scotland. They are an equal opportunities employer and will cover the cost of a DBS check.

Join our client and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care and making a lasting difference in the lives of those they support.
