Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Support Worker to work up to full time based in Woking, Surrey.

The salary for this permanent job is up to £22,105

We are looking for Support Workers to work with us in across different services we have in the Woking area. Supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and epilepsy. 1 gentleman is a wheelchair user and requires full support with all aspects of his daily life.

The Recruitment Team will discuss with you the different services we have available during a telephone interview.

No two days are the same, but your day might look like this!

* Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.

* Supporting our people with social activities and connecting with family and friends.

* Supporting the management of our people's finances.

* Keeping our people's home clean and fresh, and going shopping.

* Providing, and encouraging, personal care.

* And enjoying what you do!

Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award-winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.

Requirements of this job:

* Level 2 in Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this

* Experience of caring for Learning Disability and Behaviours that Challenge

* Experience of working in the community or care home on a one-to-one basis with service users

* Knowledge of the issues affecting vulnerable people

* Understanding of the need to keep within professional boundaries

* The ability to be flexible to fit in with the shift patterns including days, nights, weekends, and bank/public holidays.
