- New Opportunity Available: Bank Role - Support Worker in Wilmslow, Cheshire
Salary: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
An exciting new opportunity has opened within our team to support a young adult in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Our client, who has experienced a brain injury at birth, is now visually impaired and is seeking support with his Christian religious practices, as well as companionship within the broader community. This role is to provide vital support in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with the client's bespoke routines and assist in daily activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, reporting any changes in the client's condition.
- Work in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver comprehensive care.
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly with complex care or brain injury.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours (08:00 - 20:00 Monday - Sunday ).
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
- Supportive and friendly working environment.

- Both online and in-person training provided.
- An enhanced DBS check and full training will be provided before beginning work with the client.
- Ongoing support from a clinical lead nurse in your area.
