Job Description
- About The Role
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Horsham, West Sussex. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to a young individual that is quadriplegic and non verbal. We are looking for someone who is empathetic and patient being able to support him being out in the community.
Working Hours:
Term Time:
Monday - Friday: 15:30 - 20:30
Saturday & Sunday: 09:00 - 19:00
School Holidays:
Monday - Sunday: 08:30 - 20:30
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Supportive and friendly working environment.
