Lead Practice Nurse

One of our small, friendly surgeries in Crawley is expanding and looking to take on a new Practice Nurse, to work part-time hours on a permanent, salaried basis.

The hours on offer are flexible depending on your preference, ideally 3 days per week, and these can be worked in line with your availability and preference.

The successful candidate will be working alongside another Practice Nurse and a HCA, and we're ideally looking for someone who can take the lead within the nursing team, so experience with things like Infection Control will be desirable. The surgery is headed up by a supportive management team and 4 hands on GPs. It really is a positive and thriving environment to work in.

Salary is DOE and will be in the band 7 region of £24 per hour upwards, depending on your current skills and experience.

To qualify for this job, you will need to be working as a Practice Nurse currently, with recent experience working in a GP Surgery setting.

Key skills will include:

• Asthma and COPD Reviews
• Cytology
• Baby and Travel Immunisations
• Blood Pressure Checks
