We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes , a category B Prison located in Lewes.
Hours
The site currently offers shifts from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients' care.
- support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks
- will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinic
You'll receive a bank hourly rate of £16.65

Qualifications required
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
