We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our Primary care team at HMP Bullingdon , a category B Prison located in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
HMP Bullingdon is a male remand prison that has a capacity for 1,152 the offers 24 hours healthcare and there is an inpatient unit on-site.

Hours

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Salary

This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary is from £46,525 up to £52507per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Speech and Language Therapist your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for adults within the prison and immigration removal centres across Health in Justice using evidence-based interventions.
• Undertake clinical sessions, and manage a caseload as required and function as an autonomous clinician, with a role in supporting delivery of the model.
• Provide clinical leadership for Speech and language pathway within the prison.

Qualifications required

• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
• Experience of working as a Speech and Language therapist in a large multi- disciplinary team, ideally across multiple sites/ locations.
• Health Professions Council - Licence to Practice.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
