We have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Senior Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes, a category B male Prison located in near the centre of the historical town of Lewes, which is just a 5 minute walk away .
Hours

23 hours a week working across 2 days with the possibility to increase to 3 days in the future if required.

Salary

This position is part time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £47250per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Provide clinical leadership to small team of paramedics
• Have an individual approach to all patients, providing triage, minor illness and minor injury assessment
• Undertake the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care, within the healthcare centre and on the Wings/ blocks
• Perform procedures such as suturing, IV access, haemorrhage control, wound care and cardiac & CVA intervention

Qualifications required

• Qualified Paramedic and registered with the HCPC with post qualification experience
• ILS training and certificates
• Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-going competence in all aspects of the role
• Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a team
