Currently, we have an excellent opportunity to work for a leading provider of secure transportation solutions for mental health and Complex Care Enhanced Observations. The company ensures safe, dignified patient transport, serving NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, and Independent Providers, with strong client relationships and ongoing growth.

You will be a Mental Health Nurse providing leadership and management in the secure care transport and complex care sectors. An office based role to oversee and coordinate services in the field for frontline staff for Secure Care Transport and Complex Care.

Working with mental health patients across Mental Health Trusts, Acute Care Trusts, Private Healthcare Providers, Local Authorities, and other settings.

Salary: Up to £50,000

Position: Clinical Support Manager - RMN

Hours: Full-time

Setting: Secure Care Transport, Complex Care

Location: Birmingham

Your key responsibilities will be;

  • Oversee HUB operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies.
  • Supervise service contracts, ensuring adherence to terms, pricing, and authorization.
  • Monitor call quality and provide feedback to enhance customer service.
  • Manage shifts, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
  • Lead team meetings, providing coaching and promoting team collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to Mental Health Act and legal guidelines.
  • Offer guidance to patients, families, and staff on legal rights.
  • Liaise with external agencies for lawful detention and transport.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements in the HUB.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
For this role, we're looking for someone who has;
  • NMC registered Mental Health Nurse with valid registration.
  • 2+ years' experience in mental health or healthcare-related sectors.
  • Leadership experience in clinical practice or quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and related legislation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
