Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse to join a dedicated and compassionate team within a leading provider of adult eating disorder services. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality, personaliSed care within a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Salary: £40,000
Position: Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Setting: Eating Disorders Unit
Location: Manchester, SK8

Your key responsibilities will be;
• Assist the Ward Manager in the day-to-day management and supervision of the ward.
• Supervise and manage a team of registered and unregistered staff.
• Implement and maintain best practices across the ward environment.
• Support service changes and improvements, contributing to positive outcomes for patients.
• Take responsibility for the clinical direction of the ward and service delivery.
• Support the delivery of personalised care, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure cohesive care.
• Implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions within patient care plans.
• Ensure that care and treatment meet regulatory and clinical standards.
• Foster a culture of learning and development within the team.
• Actively participate in clinical governance processes to maintain high-quality care.
• Monitor the well-being and progress of patients, ensuring effective support.
• Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff.
• Support staff training and professional development, ensuring compliance with regulations.

For this role, we're looking for someone who has;
• Active NMC registration with revalidation.
• Trained Mentor and clinical supervision experience.
• At least 3 years post-registration experience in Mental Health services.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
