Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Suttons Manor is set in Stapleford Tawney, a village and civil parish in the Epping Forest district, near the town of Romford. The hospital is set in its own attractive grounds of over nine acres, which supports an amazing horticulture programme and grants access to an idyllic countryside landscape, which, by its very nature, promotes wellbeing.

Our Occupational Therapists enable service users to adapt to any aspect of their life with more independence, confidence and control. Considering the service user's own views carefully, you will assess their abilities to perform activities and design treatment programmes to increase their capability to tackle difficulties. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will help service users to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity.

What we'd like from you:

• BSc in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registered
• Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health Act
• Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
• Fine tuned decision making skills
• Excellent organisational capability
• Effective communication skills
