Summary - We are looking to work collaboratively with a Consultant Psychiatrist to support our exclusive private CAMHS outpatient service. The Consultant will work on a sessional basis, providing flexible capacity to support our private outpatient and CAMHS Therapy services.

About Ticehurst House - The CAMHS service at Ticehurst provides exclusive Consultant outpatient rooms in a building set in the grounds of large Independent Hospital. The successful Consultant, will work collaboratively with colleagues at Ticehurst to assess referrals, provide supporting outpatient services and refer to appropriate therapy services as required.

All our services are fully staffed with highly experienced Nursing, Medical and Therapy colleagues.

The Opportunity - Working with Priory at Ticehurst House will provide the opportunity to grow your private practice. You can work in an exceptionally experienced team, within one of the largest mental health providers in the UK.

Sessional working offers you flexibility. You will work on a private basis known as a Visiting Consultant and provided with full Practice Privileges to supply outpatient services on a per appointment/client basis. This type of arrangement allows you the opportunity to work flexibly alongside other clinical commitments.

Role Responsibilities:

Assess and treat a diverse CAMHS outpatient population
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists and psychologists
Engage in governance activities
Adhere to Priory policies and procedures
Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements

Candidate profile

GMC registration and relevant specialist accreditation
A strong understanding of Clinical Governance
