Job Description

Senior Staff Nurse Endoscopy
Location - The Lister Hospital, The Lister Hospital, Chelsea Bridge Rd, London SW1W 8RH
This role is a 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday to cover the hours or 7am - 6pm with some on-call duties.
This role offers a completive salary, this will be dependent on experience + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

As a Senior Endoscopy Staff Nurse, you'll be responsible for supporting the Endoscopy Service Manager in leading, motivating and supervising a team of endoscopy trained nurses. The role involves key responsibilities such as staff allocation and monitoring staffing list to ensure requirements are met as well as deputising for the Endoscopy Manager when necessary, requiring good decision-making skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations confidently and professionally. What you'll bring:

  • RGN with active NMC registration
  • Previous experience in a Senior Nurse/Leadership role
  • Knowledge of the Global Rating Scale and JAG accreditation
  • Audit experience
  • Decontamination experience
  • Great analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong organisational ability
