Job Description

Role: Senior Staff Nurse - ITU
Location/Site: London - The Princess Grace Hospital
Working Hours: Full Time: 37.5 hours per week (flexible shift patterns)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive with Shift Enhancements and excellent additional benefits

We are looking for an experienced ITU Senior Staff Nurse to join our state-of-the-art ITU Unit at The Princess Grace Hospital. Our unit specialises in caring for complex colorectal, liver, urological, and spinal cases, including those requiring staged operations.

As a Senior Staff Nurse in our ITU unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the department, providing expert knowledge, and supporting junior nurses. This is a varied role-one day you might be delivering bespoke, complex care to patients in partnership with the multidisciplinary team, and the next you'll be coaching and mentoring junior staff to help them progress. What you'll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse with an NMC pin
  • Extensive experience within Critical Care
  • Experience in Neuro, Spinal or General ITU
  • Critical Care Course 60 Credits
