Senior Care Assistant Needed in Brentwood

Howard Finley Care are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our clients care home. This care home cares for elderly and dementia residents and are looking for an experienced Senior to join their qualified team to help assist the HCAs and management team in delivering excellent standards of care.

Senior Care Assistant vacancy details:

• £12.75 per hour (Days) £13.50 per hour (Nights)
• Full time, permanent contract.
• Day and Night shifts available.
• 8pm - 8am start and finish times

Senior Care Assistant Must Haves:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or higher.
• At least 2 years' experience as a Senior Care Assistant.
• Sound understanding of medication cycles and administration.
• Ability to run a day and/or night shift.

Senior Care Assistant main duties:

• Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity.
• To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
• Ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
• Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
• Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
