Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) - Band 5

Banding: Band 5

Location: North Wales

Rate: £24.02 - £44.95 per hour

Pulse Nursing is currently recruiting skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNLD) with a passion for working within the Learning Disability and Mental Health sectors. About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities, supporting their physical and mental health needs in a compassionate and respectful manner. You'll work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care in a variety of settings across North Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in line with individual care plans
  • Support patients with daily living, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life
  • Work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and advocate for patient needs

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities) with valid NMC pin
  • Strong communication, empathy, and team-working skills
  • A commitment to delivering high standards of care
  • Minimum 6 months experience post qualification
  • Right to work in the UK- Proof will be required.
  • To meet compliance requirement including DBS.
