Job Description
Pulse Nursing have been given an exciting job opportunity in Roehampton, South London for a senior staff nurse to become a permanent member of a private mental health hospital.
The hospital specializes in a range of mental health challenges including treatment for depression and drug and alcohol addiction treatment. They also offer inpatient mental health treatment for young people and outpatient support for individuals struggling with an eating disorder.
An opportunity has become available for Registered Senior Mental Health and/or Learning Disability Nurses to develop their expertise in a specialist Eating Disorder Service, where there are three different treatment plans; inpatient, day care treatment and outpatient.
About the Role
You will be an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team.
The job responsibilities will include a ssessing, planning and delivering, with the patient and their carer/family. Providing nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. Work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team, whilst contributing to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team.
A competitive salary paying up to £37,439, dependent on skill and entry level!
Shift Pattern
You will work a variety of shift patterns, which will include days, nights, weekends and holiday periods.
Requirements for this role
- Have at least 6 months experience working in a mental health setting/eating disorders
- Ability to provide a clinical reference
- Current NMC or HCPC Registration
- Able to provide an enhanced DBS
- Passed preceptorship
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
