NHS Blood and Transplant Authority is on the lookout for a Band 6 Plasma Nurse to join our team in Birmingham.

This exciting full-time locum opportunity spans from 4 to 6 months and offers the chance to work 5 days a week, Monday through Saturday, with flexible shifts between 07:30 and 20:30. Enjoy competitive Umbrella pay with weekdays at £25 per hour and Saturdays at £30 per hour. What you will do:

- Lead the day-to-day management of the plasma collection team to safely deliver supplies meeting programme requirements.

- Ensure the plasma product meets Manufacturing Practice standards.

- Provide expertise on donor eligibility and clinical decisions to ensure donor safety.

- Manage and investigate any risks or adverse incidents to continually improve services.

- Act as a role model by inspiring change and improving service safety and performance.

- Coach and mentor colleagues in new procedures to enhance team service delivery.

- Demonstrate our values and foster a culture of inclusivity, listening, and respect.

- Deputise for the Plasma Operation Manager and support neighbouring teams.

- Deliver a top-tier donation experience to ensure exceptional donor care, satisfaction, and retention.
