Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners or equivalent to join a leading healthcare provider in Doncaster. This exciting opportunity offers work across their OOH service and an Urgent Treatment Centre. Flexible rotas and diverse clinical environments await! Rotas are organised at least 6 weeks in advance, with hundreds of sessions available each month across their services. Once approved, you have the flexibility to pick and choose the sessions you are available for, whether this is weekday, evening, weekend, overnights and more! See details below.

Urgent Treatment Centre

• Deliver care to both adult and paediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.

• Assess and manage minor injuries such as fractures, burns, sprains, and lacerations.

• Carry out diagnostic requests such as blood tests, X-rays, and arrange onward referrals as needed.

• Manage urgent presentations with appropriate treatment, signposting, or escalation of care.

• Experience within an OOH and UTC environment desirable

• Must be Minor Injuries trained.

• Be able to see a wide range of ages inclusive of paeds and adults.

OOH service

• Flexible shift patterns for a range of their service

• You will be conducting telephone triage, seeing and treating patients F2F, visiting sessions available as well.

• Refer and signpost patients to the appropriate services or pathways for further support

• Working autonomously as well as part of a multi disciplinary team to optimise high quality patient care.

• Must be minor illness trained

• Be able to see a wide range of ages inclusive of paeds and adults.

Requirements:

• ANP qualifications include full MSC or RCN Credentialling

• Level 7 MSC Modules

• Minor illness / Minor Injuries trained

• At least 6 months experience working within a primary care OOH setting

• Experience using Emis and Adastra desirable
